#115: It’s time.

1111comics - 00115 - its time

You can’t just divide everything into black and white.

This comic is intentionally ridiculous to highlight the absurdity of different types of discrimination. Things that don’t make sense:

1) why didn’t the parents realize their son was gray? Perhaps they convinced themselves it was their imagination as many parents do;
2) is their issue with his skin tone or his sexuality? Bisexuals are discriminated against because many people don’t believe they are real. Hence gray refers to the gray area of sexuality that many gay people don’t believe in;
3) you can’t have the DNA of 2 dads to make 1 child (yet).

Discrimination doesn’t make sense.

  • Ricky Yong

    Contrary; now you can have 2 dads to make a child! But you still need a womb to hold the baby. :( More information can be found on the net. :p

  • Ben McLean

    Your life must be incredibly shallow if you must put what color you are before everything you do and you lose all self-respect if you don’t literally parade the type of fuck buddy you prefer through the streets

    • 1111

      Ben, I hope you’re not being discriminatory in this comment, because I haven’t censored someone before and I don’t want to. If you don’t like holding hands with your girlfriend, then that’s your prerogative. We shouldn’t cry foul at the innocent happiness of other people but be grateful and happy for the love and happiness we have in our own lives.

      • Ben McLean

        > “If you don’t like holding hands with your girlfriend”

        I’m not about to organize “Pride Parades” because I like girls, or dress up as a sexual organ or any of the other ridiculous crap that self-identified gays have made themselves known for. Notice I was using “literally” correctly, as in, actual parades.

        • 1111

          Ahhh, indeed you were. I’m sorry that these parades that are trying to end discrimination make you unhappy. To be honest, I don’t like the antics that go on in them either, but I’m not going to hate a person for it. The parades are for a good cause. We all do stupid things at one point or another, and will likely continue doing so.

          • Ben McLean

            > “I’m sorry that these parades that are trying to end discrimination make you unhappy.”

            Yes they do, because the word “discrimination” means “choice.”

          • 1111

            No one is asking you to sleep with men. Give over. I’m going to end this now because sometimes we need to take a step back. Good luck.

          • Ben McLean

            But they are trying to force active participation in “gay rights” events by law, and using McCarthy-era style blacklisting against anyone who ever, in any context, even questions whether it might not be the best idea for absolutely everybody to be fucking absolutely everybody else all the fucking time.

          • 1111

            When that happens to you, let me know. Bye.

          • 1111

            I’m sure that won’t happen, Ben. Don’t worry.

          • Ben McLean

            It’s already happened! Jack Phillips was sued because his bakery didn’t fill special orders for “gay marriage” events. Brendan Eich, Orson Scott Card and the Benham brothers have faced blacklisting because LGBTQWXYZ activism is the New Fascism!!!

          • 1111

            Ben. Don’t worry. You’re getting worried. Send me an email or follow this wonderful twitter handle: http://www.twitter.com/words4everyone I can’t change anything except maybe talk with you about what you’re scared of. Life isn’t scary, only our imagination is. I hope you have a nice day.

          • MrArthoz .

            Force participation…boohoo….I weep for you…when people who are different in every terms, even for difference in faith, are suffering all over the world…many have died while being ignorant of the reason for their death. Their killing is just to make a point to those who is not normal…now everyone have their chance to become a martyr, the norm and queer alike, so why all the complaints?

  • ThaĆs Cavalcante

    I can relate to this comic… sometimes you just walk the middle path :(
